We have not fallen off the face of the earth. We are just really busy covering every square inch of it that we can while time allows. And, enjoying every minute of it - well, almost. More about that whenever I get a chance to sit down long enough to regale you with travel tales.
Until then, enjoy some of these images from Italy and Slovenia. Savor them because they will be the last for a while. My digital camera finally went kaput after a few weeks of threatening to do so. That is so wrong on so many levels! I live in Italy. I see something breathtaking and photo-worthy every single day. How dare my camera let me down like that. I am trying to figure out which one to buy now, so any suggestions are welcomed. I really like the Nikon Coolpix 8700, but husband thinks that might be a little out of our price range...
So, anyway, on to the pictures.

Husband thought this was a funny bathroom picture. There is nothing behind the barrier, but at least you get a bit of privacy.
And, finally, Taylor sums up my feelings about the camera.

I love your pics and those of http://www.foodiefarmgirl.blogspot.com/. She uses and highly recommends the Canon PowerShot A630 8MP Digital Camera with 4x Optical Zoom - $193 on Amazon right now. Might be worth looking at her pics to see if you like it...

Aww.. look how big the girls are!
I got a Kodak P712 a few months ago, and I'm mostly happy with it. I picked up a Nikon D40 and Canon Rebel XTi and fell in love with those. They're DSLR but they have the pre-set modes like the Kodaks do. Had I realized, I would have gotten one of those instead.
I looked into a Sony DSC H5, which was supposed to be a good one & part of me wishes I'd gotten it. But now they have the H7, which seems comparable to the one you said you like. And it's cheaper.
www.dpreview.com was a big help to me when I was shopping around. If you have access to a place that sells the cameras you're looking at, go and get a feel for them. That's the best thing to do. Because I'm totally sure you wouldn't have thought of that yourself. Heh.
Shutting up now.

Oh, tell the PU quy to stick a crowbar in his wallet and get you the camera you want. You deserve it. And these are once in a lifetime pictures of Italy, etc and the girls enjoying it.
