I am delaying dressing them in their Christmas dresses and taking a picture in front of the tree for another day or two. If the pictures were taken on Christmas day, the caption could easily have read "Merry Christmas from Slugger, Stitch and Snaggletooth."

Reagan, aka Snaggletooth, is doing her best to bankrupt the Tooth Fairy. She presently has three missing front teeth.

McKinley, aka Stitch, fell out of bed a few nights ago, her chin catching the brunt of the fall on the tile floor. Tile is not forgiving.

Four stitches of unforgiving in the chin.

At an Italian hospital where they don't believe in anything other than a topical anethestic for pain.

Taylor, aka Slugger, went head-to-head (or head to corner as the case may be) with the coffee table the following day.

Once the black eye clears up and the stitches come out, they will get all dolled up and stand in front of the tree for their annual pictures.

I thought only mothers of boys had to worry about black eyes and stitches in pictures.
