Even though we have already had the pleasure of navigating the Italian medical system with a trip to the emergency room (McKinley came up on the short end of the stick when her head battled the concrete window sill) and have weathered one of the worst storms Aviano has seen in years (50+ mph winds, many uprooted trees, portions of buildings collapsing) we are alive and well in Italy and already thoroughly enjoying it.

We should be in our house in a week or so and a new adventure will no doubt begin.
