No

I say at least once a day - sometimes to complete strangers - that I didn't know babies could be as good as Taylor.

She really is a very happy, cheerful, good-natured and just good baby.

But, she is inquisitive. Everything is a new adventure. Every nook and cranny is a new land just waiting to be explored.

Thus, she has recently been introduced to the word "no."

When Reagan was first introduced to the word she would collapse into a weeping ball of devastated baby onto the floor. Not a fit. True heartbreak. She was born with that tender heart of hers.

When McKinley was first introduced to the word she would look you dead in the eye and press on with the prohibited action in sheer defiance. This is why she is the one who started the microwave fire with me standing no more than 10 feet from her.

When Taylor is told "no" she launches into a hearty belly-laugh. Her blue eyes twinkle. Her whole body smiles, she tilts her head to the side and she says "MmmmmomMom."

I speak baby. I know she is really saying "Oh, silly Mommy. I am going to do this and you are going to let me because I am the sweetest baby there ever was and you didn't know babies could be this good."

Oh my. I am in trouble.
